Sweet and simple pick-me-ups
Can you believe it’s May already? Exactly one month from now, I’ll be moving to Atlanta!
In the meantime, I have about a million things to do, such as writing some very long final papers, packing up everything I own, and graduating from grad school. I’m excited for all of the upcoming transitions, but sometimes it’s hard not to get stressed out when everything’s happening all at once. Know what I mean?
What do you do when you’re feeling sad or stressed? Here are some simple things that always make me feel a little better.

- Go window shopping.
- Paint my nails bright pink.
- Take a long walk.
- Watch American Idol finales on Youtube. (Don’t judge. They’re so inspiring!)
- Bake something sweet.
- Catch up on my favorite blogs with feedly.
- Wander around a local bookstore.
